Also got to chill with his broham Brian for a bit too, so that was coo… I’m lookin for you on FB as we speak! LOL!

Went out to dinner with Janice today for dinner… as we’ve been doing for the past 2 weeks. Looks like we’ll be taking a break next week since she’s super weksauce. That’s right, I said it! Hahaha..
We ventured to Green Street Restaurant. I’ve never been here before but Yelp gave it pretty decent reviews, so we decided to check it out. The place is kinda in the middle of an alleyway, which is nice because it means there weren’t tons of cars driving by kickin dust all over your food… even though we sat inside. But! They did have a nice outdoor patio area if you decide to enjoy your meal outside.
I had the Ahi Tuna Burger x Steak Fries… I completely just had a brain fart and forgot what Janice ordered (feel free to let me know through comment!). But her sweet potato fries were great! Love those… On another note, this is as close as I can get to having Janice in a picture. She doesn’t trust me to photograph her… apparently I’m just not good enough.

Comment: This was a pretty good burger… considering that it was fish instead of the usual beef. I don’t really have a lot to say about this burger other than it tastes as good as it looks, so you can use your imagination to figure that one out. The steak fries were crispy, but still doesn’t beat the ones from Tommy’s Burger… Those are the shit!
Just for fun on my drive home… There’s something about driving with all the windows open during a warm sunset really makes my day a little better. ahhhhhhh

08152010 (Nisei Weekend)
I been lookin forward to this past weekend for a little bit now. It turned out better than I was originally expected, and I had some pretty high expectations for it already. A buncha my boys rolled through for a chill session, and it was great!
On friday, I couldn’t wait to get outta class. Met up with the fellas and rolled through to Pasadena with Jermz’s friend Steph (sorry about the last long island…looll) to Barney’s Beanery. I got SMASHED that night. Apparently, I have this habit of pee’n on my own Air Maxes when I’m drunk… Disneyland = my AM90 Infrareds… Friday night = my AM97… good times though!! I didn’t get home until roughly 3am, and ended up waking up the next morning around 7am. Hangover session commenced on my ass…
Saturday morning, we all pretty much rolled thru to Japantown to chillout for Nisei. Had ramen with the dudes and JB x Blue came through! HI JB!! (Super awesome seeing you this weekend!) Nisei car show wasn’t as packed as I thought it was going to be, but either way… it got pretty hot so a few of us got out and had us some yogurt. A few more people ended up showin up too! (WADDUP JOMO!! WADDUP WENDY!!) After everything pretty much settled at Nisei, road trip status over to Westminster for some springrolls… zOMG status. On top of that… Kogi near Huntington Beach to cap off the night.
Today, we headed over to Pasadena for some lunch before the dudes had to head back up north. Super cool of Janice to join us! (See you tomorrow for dinner, Janice!!!) Ended up eating at this Thai place that apparently also offered massages? Interesting… That pretty much sums up my weekend… my super chill status weekend…
On a side note though…
- B and Prez!!! You niglets should’ve been here with us…
- Next time we need to just do a “ALL BEACH” weekend…

I have officially gone back to waking up early now. Been sleeping around 2am for the past 2 nights and still waking up before/at 9am. I’m not going to complain though because it’s nice to be able to enjoy my sunny weekend mornings on my patio with some coffee. Currently chillin outdoors enjoying some sun x breeze and trying to blog I’ve also been in a pretty appreciative mode lately… so I’d just like to say, “Thank you life… I love you.” I have a pretty busy week coming up…

For some reason or another, I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. Like… I was in a good mood. Days like these don’t come very often for me, but I have a feeling I had the past weekend to thank for that one. Actually these last couple weeks have been pretty good to me, so naturally, I am very thankful. I also have a feeling more things are about to come my way. The only response I have to all this is “BRANGGGG IT!!”

08022010 (Weekend with the boys…Yes, that means you too, Michelle)
Wowowzaahhh! Hands down, one of the best weekends I’ve had in a looong time. On friday, I met up with B for a nice little chill session with his 2 cuzzos, which by the way were some cool ass dudes. 2 new friends on FB byaahhh! Ended up kickin it til about 2:30am… which I don’t know if it was a smart move because I woke up the next morning at around 6am for a day at Disneyland with Tom and Michelle and Thari… who I am very happy to have met. If you ever read this, Thari… Hello!! Anyways, I ended up missing the World of Color show because I was just dead tired, so I headed home for some sleep… Woke up the next morning to lunch at Roscoes with B, Tom, and Michelle, then headed down towards Huntington Beach. zOMG! Is the only word I can find to describe the beach at this moment… I’m not gonna lie, I loooooooovveeee SoCal. Afterwards, we had a quick swing-by to grab some springrolls. Tom, Michelle, and B are gonna be haunted by those springrolls until they come down again. I just know it. We pretty much ended the night at Downtown Disney for some dinner, but not before some Margaritas to get the night started. I was buzzin’ off my ass at Disneyland! Jambalaya x Gumbo x Outdoor dining x Warm weather x Sunset x The boys = I couldn’t have asked for anything else. Can’t wait to see you niglets again!!
